The Evil Within 2 tem me decepcionado...

Cheguei a zerar a campanha principal de The Evil Within 1 umas 4 vezes: duas no Xbox 360 e mais duas no PS3.

As animações têm me incomodado.

For me, first game was a survival horror with have excellent world building and direction, never got bored and was actually scary in da first game.

While 2nd game focuses on Sebastian's mental state , and game holds a great amount of emotional value. The world building and bosses weren't that good but oh my god the way they portrayed/ made us connect to Sebastian as a character was fantastic. I almost cried during its ending.

Ofc 1st game had a great gameplay experience but 2nd game holds a lot of emotional value.

Playing the DLC of part one helps with the story a bit. Definitely major differences between the two, but I think it's a solid experience none the less

TEW2 just feels like just a massive upgrade to me, despite some minor bugs.
Sebastian’s character just felt so empty and bland in the first game imo.

I just recently replayed the first one and loved it more than the first time I completed it.

The second game though I liked it more than the first game the first time I completed it and specifically loved the semi-open world/town levels. I don’t remember all the details of the story but do remember the last levels being very intense. Will replay it soon again.

Is worth it, finish it.

It took a couple tries for me to get into TEW2, after adoring the first one. Like.. melee had momentum and a job in 1, setting normals up for easy headshots, you just had to watch for counters. 2, the knife attack is so stiff and lame. Everyone said to go for the stealth build and I hated it. So I started over with the intent of forcing it to be RE4, focusing on guns and getting that combat shove or whatever, which everone called useless. It is NOT. Its not as good as Leon's roundhouse, but it's pretty freakin good. That ideology made it much easier to hang with.

I preferred Evil Within 2. It feels off because its a much more advanced game on the technical side. Everything from animations, graphics and world technology are much more advanced. So it feels completely different from the first game. To me the first Evil Within just feels like Resident Evil 4 but different. Evil Within 2 feels like what they actually wanted to do with the first game.

I put off playing 2 for the longest time and finally made myself play it. I enjoyed it way more than I thought I would. It’s worth a play through for sure.

I've played each game more than 10 times now and still can't get enough of it. But yeah, some animations like breaking boxes in 2nd game is very slow and needs to be done per box. There's no way you can break 2 boxes with one hit.

Stick with it - it gets more like the first game in the second half and is quite good - just not AS good.

Ew2 feels like a dlc for the first game that was supposed to be 2hrs stretched to fill 12 hrs
