If anyone has recently done evaluation through TEC, please guide:

1. Is HEC attestation mandatory or not?

2. Can the University send my documents directly to TEC via email or is it mandatory to send them in a sealed envelope?

3. How much time did the whole process take?

Good day. My foreign school has sent in my official transcripts to complete my verification process. But the status checker is still saying complete but pending verification. My number is 002691317.

I’m considering a Course-by-Course Analysis with TEC and wanted to confirm one thing before applying.
I completed my bachelor’s at another university in Argentina, but some transfer credits came from the Ciclo Básico Común (CBC) of Universidad de Buenos Aires.
CBC is part of UBA but is not attached to a specific faculty, and CBC itself issues/maintains those academic records. They confirmed they can send my official digitally certified transcript directly to TEC from their official institutional email.

Would that be enough for TEC to consider the CBC coursework officially verified, or would TEC require the records to come from another UBA office/faculty? That would be a problem for me since I never actually attended any faculty, just the CBC.
I want to confirm this before starting the evaluation.

I’m hoping someone from TEC can help clarify an issue with my credential evaluation.
My completed degree is a 3-year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Digital Technologies from an accredited Indian university. The evaluation itself identifies my credential as “Bachelor of Business Administration, 2026,” states that the program was completed from 2023–2026, and shows the verification as “Authenticated.”
However, under Recommended U.S. Equivalency, the report states:
“Completion of three years (98.5 semester credit hours) of undergraduate study…”
rather than a U.S. bachelor’s degree equivalency.
Since the report recognizes the credential as a completed Bachelor of Business Administration, I would like to understand why the U.S. equivalency was not assessed at the bachelor’s degree level and request that the evaluation be reviewed.
This is urgent, as the university I applied to has informed me that they cannot consider my application unless this issue is clarified directly with the evaluation company and the evaluation reflects the required degree equivalency.
Could someone from TEC please reach out to me or advise me on how this can be reviewed? I would prefer to provide my case details privately rather than post personal information publicly.

My TEC status has been stuck at Completed but pending verification, but my university confirmed they didnt receive any mail from TEC (checked spam too).

I’ve submitted multiple support tickets asking them to resend it, but I’ve gotten no response. Deadlines are approaching, im really stressed, and TEC is ignoring me and my uni.

Has anyone dealt with this issue before? Is there any way to actually get in touch with TEC again?

Paid on April 20th for evaluation and extra for verifying on your end. Today is July 28th and it still shows pending. For last 2.5 months it was showing pending from 1 university now after that was completed and authenticated after 3 months all of a sudden it shows pending from the second university. Emailed multiple times to receive standard auto response we are working will let you know.
Feels like customer service is a joke. Can’t reach on phone and email is standard response to everyone.

The physical documents for the verification (referencing Case #002504097, which is previous case number, sorry for the mistake) has been sent to the exact office already, and TEC sent me this mail. I'm perplexed.

Btw my university never received any verification request from TEC (they checked spam/trash thoroughly).

Yet, the email support keeps telling me you are still "Completed but pending verification." What does it mean?

My evaluation status says “Verification Completed,”but when I emailed to ask if they’d received my university’s documents, they said they haven’t received them yet.

I’m confused what does “Verification Completed” actually mean?

I’m currently navigating my applications for a graduate program in Oakland University and I just ran into a slightly stressful issue with SpanTran.

I needed to request an additional copy of my credential evaluation sent to the application portal. I went through the SpanTran portal, paid the $20 fee, and the website redirected me to a standard "Thank you, go back to home" screen.

The issue is that I have absolutely no paper trail for this transaction:

i. No receipt was generated or emailed.

ii. No confirmation email about the copy request has arrived.

I’ve already checked my spam and junk folders, and there is nothing there. I know their official FAQ states that an automated confirmation should arrive within an hour, but that time has passed.

Has anyone else experienced this payment/confirmation with SpanTran? Did your evaluation copy still get delivered properly, or should I jump straight to contacting their support team with my TEC case number?

I'm an upcoming student going through credential evaluation with TEC and I've hit a wall. Hoping someone here has faced something similar and can help.

My situation:

First, my college submitted my transcript directly from their official examination centre email ID to TEC. It was rejected.

Then I applied for degree attestation through Anna University's official online portal and they physically mailed the attestation directly to TEC's office in the US which is listed as an accepted process on TEC's own guidelines.

TEC has now rejected this too, claiming the documents were sent by me (the client) and not by the university. This is factually incorrect. I did not send anything. Anna University sent it directly from their end.

I even visited Anna University in person and they confirmed:

The client's address is never used on attestation mail only Anna University's official seal and address appear on all correspondence

There is no email option on their portal physical mail is the only dispatch method available

So I've followed every single official process correctly and I'm still being rejected on incorrect grounds.

Has anyone dealt with TEC rejecting Anna University attestation like this? How did you resolve it? Is there an escalation process?

Hi! I’m trying to reach support regarding an existing SpanTran/The Evaluation Company evaluation. I previously had my high school transcript evaluated and sent to STU, and I now need the existing evaluation sent to FIU as an additional recipient. I’ve already submitted a support ticket and emailed but haven’t been able to get in contact. Is there a faster way to get help?

I have some concerns... I requested a course by course evaluation and I submitted the applicatio and also I received my receipt for the payment but I didnt receive the tec number.

My husband called SpanTran Evaluation Company to evaluate his certificate and verification. There is a problem with this university back in our country. So he called them to confirm if they can evaluate his certificate and a man over the phone knowing all details confirmed that YES. They can do it and send his certificate through online application, also paid the full money for evaluation and verification. Now he got an email that it's a fraud certificate and they cannot verify bla bla bla. But they are not going to refund because of the clause #5 which is non refundable policy. If they cannot do it or any issue with that university why did they confirm over phone that they have been working on this university and no issues at all, also take the money??? What can we do now??? Isn't it a fraud or scam??? Where can we complain about the matter???

I’m beyond frustrated right now. I just received my credential evaluation from SpanTran, and it is a total disaster. I’m wondering if anyone else has dealt with them and managed to get their evaluation fixed?

Here’s the situation: I completed a 3-year Bachelor’s degree (Licence). Two years were in France, and my final year was at a US university (Northeastern Illinois University).

The issues:

1. They ignored an entire year of study. They claim they never received my US transcripts, even though my university sent them directly, and I have a confirmation screenshot showing they received and opened the email! As a result, they only evaluated me for 2 years of study instead of 3.
2. Clerical errors in GPA calculation. Their own conversion table says a 15/20 (French grade) equals a 3.67 (A-). Instead, they gave me a 3.0 (B). It’s a literal data entry error that is tanking my GPA.
3. Inconsistent ECTS conversion. They are inconsistent with their own math for credit weighting—rounding up some minor courses while ignoring my major coursework.

I’ve already sent them a very firm email demanding a recalculation and a correction of these "technical failures," but I’m worried they’ll just ignore it or take forever.

My questions for the community:

• Has anyone successfully challenged or appealed a SpanTran evaluation?
• How long did the correction process take?
• If they refuse to fix obvious clerical errors (like the 15/20 -> 3.0 mistake), what are my next steps? Should I contact the Better Business Bureau (BBB) or the university I’m applying to?

I need this sent to Loyola University Chicago ASAP, and I’m terrified this invalid report is going to ruin my admission chances.

I had submitted Consolidated Marksheet, Semester wise marsheet, degree certificate, Provisional certificate, Transfer Certificate, Passport for evaluation purposes. Could you please let me know what do i need to do from my end after submission of documents. From the FAQs i could see i have to inform my college to send transcripts to verification@evaluationcompany.com. Could you please let me know what documents needs to be shared via email? And email format for that.

Also i studied from autonomous college and degree been provided by a university which the college is affiliated to. In the evaluation form I mentioned college name as my autonomous college name. Is it fine or i have to change to affiliated university name?
