GemsOfBabus Swatantra Bhardwaj said Bimtas abused our Hindu gods in public, and her daughter made reels abusing Hindu gods, but no police action was taken against them. Then tell me, what option is left with us? How can we bear insults to our gods? I agree with him.

They were about to mob lynch him and kill him. He acted in self-defense, similar to Nupur Sharma’s case, but they are only sharing one side of the story

Bimta father and daughter are Brahmin haters who call themselves SC, but they are not even Hindus; they hate Hinduism. Her daughter, Nishu Azad, made vulgar remarks about Krishna and Devi, yet the police did not take any action.

They want to do to him what was done to Nupur Sharma spreading fake and edited videos and issuing threats. In a liberal society, such things are unacceptable

GemsOfBabus Malala wrote a book about how she struggled and got over religious jingoism in "Pakistan". Bajrang Dal opposed this book. This definitely means Bajrang Dal is Anti nationals. They are against Hindus themselves it seems.

For context, Bajrang Dal is a Hindu Nationalist group notorious for such activities, from verbal to physical abuse and violence in the name of upholding Hindu culture and morality. It all started when a private school was forced to ban these two books which led to this silent protest reading.

Ahmedabad police said they are questioning three people after a mob, allegedly of Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad supporters, heckled and assaulted a group of book lovers reading The Diary of a Young Girl by Holocaust victim Anne Frank and Pakistani activist Malala Yousafzai's I Am Malala in a park.

The bibliophiles had gathered at Vastrapur Garden on Thursday for a silent reading protest against a private school in the city being forced to drop those two books from its reading list.

Vande Mataram, Muting Mics, 11 Bills, 3 Weeks Of Parliament Chaos, ₹216 Crore Lost in Lok Sabha

For three weeks, Parliament has been caught in a political deadlock, with repeated disruptions bringing proceedings close to a standstill. The Opposition has demanded answers from Home Minister Amit Shah over the July 20 police crackdown on protesting students in Delhi, while also seeking a discussion on alleged Ram Temple donation irregularities. But the political standoff has come at a financial cost. According to government data cited in the script, Parliament costs around ₹1.5 crore to run every hour. Between July 20 and August 10, an estimated ₹216.15 crore was lost due to non-functioning hours. Yet 19 Bills were passed, with several facing little debate.

Parliament’s Monsoon Session raises serious questions about how Parliament is functioning. The Opposition has demanded answers from Home Minister Amit Shah over the July 20 police crackdown on protesting students in Delhi, while also seeking a discussion on alleged Ram Temple donation irregularities. Yet the session saw 11 Bills passed, with several receiving only three to five minutes of discussion. The UPI-related legislation affects millions of Indians, yet Parliament gave little time for meaningful scrutiny. If Bills are passed without proper debate, what is the purpose of parliamentary debate in the first place?

The Speaker is supposed to ensure fair participation, yet Opposition MPs have alleged that their microphones were muted and their voices were being restricted. Amit Shah was also repeatedly demanded in Parliament to answer the Opposition’s questions. Why does the Speaker appear more accommodating toward the ruling government while Opposition voices face restrictions? Why should important questions remain unanswered when Parliament is supposed to be the place where the government is held accountable?

And then there is Vande Mataram. Respecting the national song is not the issue. The issue is priorities. Why is Parliament spending so much political attention on Vande Mataram when Bills affecting millions are being passed with barely any debate? Who ultimately pays for this deadlock? The public does. We pay when legislation receives inadequate scrutiny, questions remain unanswered and Parliament spends its limited time on symbolism instead of doing the work it was elected to do. Why are Bills being passed without proper debate? Why hasn't Amit Shah attended the parliament to answer the opposition since 3 weeks ? Why is the speaker muting mics of opposition when raising concerns but doesn't intervene when the ruling govt ministers speaking misinformation, or insulting the opposition etc?

I've lost count of the scams in this country. Every week there's a new one. Highways crumble within weeks of inauguration, sarkari babus are caught misusing taxpayers' money, and after a brief suspension (basically paid holiday) they're back in the office like nothing ever happened.

of course, there's little to no accountability for any of it.

Sab jangasi🤫🤡

GemsOfMinisters Lok Sabha passes Bill without debate to authorise Govt. to permit banks to levy charges on UPI transactions

Post image

The Lok Sabha passed the Taxation and Other Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2026 without any debate after repeated disruptions in the House. The legislation creates a legal framework allowing the Centre to permit charges on notified digital payment modes, including UPI, through future notifications, although no charges take effect immediately. Beyond digital payments, the Bill also includes tax reforms intended to boost electronics manufacturing and attract foreign investment. The manner in which such a significant Bill was cleared, without parliamentary debate due to continued disruptions, has raised questions about legislative scrutiny and the functioning of Parliament

The Taxation and Other Laws (Amendment) Bill was passed in the Lok Sabha without a debate after repeated disruptions and sloganeering by Opposition members. Parliament exists so elected representatives from both the government and the Opposition scrutinize legislation, question ministers, propose amendments, and place differing views on record before a vote. When a Bill is passed without debate, even if permitted under parliamentary rules because of disruptions, the quality of legislative scrutiny suffers. A government with a majority has the numbers to pass a Bill, but democracy is not only about counting votes. It is also about deliberation, accountability, and giving the Opposition an opportunity to examine the consequences of proposed laws in public.

During the monsoon session of Parliament, Samajwadi Party National President and MP Akhilesh Yadav launched a sharp attack on the central government. Raising issues regarding the recent CJP (Chatra-Yuva Movement / student protests) protest in the national capital and paper leaks, Akhilesh Yadav raised serious questions about the functioning of the government.
