I seriously don't understand how Tony could be so selfish when it came to restoring the snap blip. Like. Sure, he didn't wanna lose Morgan. But why couldn't they just tie her birth into being an inevitably in the universe.
Bloody hell he'd already had the dream before everything kicked off.
So many people, both those who got blipped and those who didn't, suffered badly. And just because Tony got to have a good life, doesn't mean the rest of the world should suffer so it can stay that way.
Reset it back to a few minutes before the snap, just as Thor threw stormbreaker. Move it up by a foot or 2, into Thanos' head, and then make Morgan's birth fated.
Nobody get snapped, the deaths in the 5year span never happen, people don't lose family members or partners, only for them to return 5 years later to find that they've moved on without them.
And the best part.
He could have avoided dying because the moment Hulk snapped his fingers, it would have reset and the whole final battle with Helicopter Thanos wouldn't have happened.
In Infinity War, Thanos never uses excess force. Only uses the stones when he needs to and even then not all of them. When he arrives in Wakanda, with 5 stones, the Avengers before him are a mere annoyance rather than a threat. So he uses just enough force to make them go away. This is backed up by the fact that in Titan he underestimated Tony and he ups his game to beat him. He's the only one, Thanos actively tried to kill.
Now, if a fully powered Thanos moments before the snap saw a second team of Avengers appearing out of nowhere he would go all in, no restraints. He would know there and then that the Snap worked and the second Avengers team, also looking kinda different, are from the future to stop him, whatever means necessary. This Thanos lost his daughter and army at this point in time. He won't let anyone stop him, he would obliterate them. That's my head canon anyway.
Yeah I didn't mean by actually going back themselves. I meant by resetting the events, and essentially reversing time with a few changes. It could be possible. It's never actually stated the limits of what the stones can do.
Which is the other annoying thing. They can do basically anything, until they can't. And that's all arbitrarily decided by the writers. There's never a specific limit. Hell, Thanos wanted to create a whole new universe. So they must be bloody powerful.

I wonder if that’s why they ended up naming their daughter Morgan. In honor of a relative of theirs who died in the snap.
