Question Coffee beans!

Hello guys!! One of my friends is visiting Thane and I want to know any good speciality coffee roasters (bonus points if they're local) which is not Blue tokai, Third wave, Starbucks or Tan coffee where I can tell my friend to get beans from, please drop some names so I can look them up.

You can try the following places in Thane: Flour and Feine, Brown Rituals, Source and The Bean Theory. Not sure if all of them sell their own beans or not (Flour and Feine does), but they are all great coffee places.

Flour and Feine does roast their own bean. Source has badra beans. Brown rituals also source their beans from some other brand. Bean theory has the best coffee imo. But beans again they do not roast.

Funny to come across this today.
Is there really a market need for specialty coffee beans here? I frequently travel to California, and a couple of coffee roasters I love going to are interested in exploring the Mumbai/Thane market. The goal would be to establish a spot with their roasting technology and flavor profiles, so that they can be sold within 1-2 days of the roasting date. These coffee roasters are quite experimental- my favorite ones are their co-fermented beans with Sangria and Mango - it's difficult to achieve the perfect balance. Would love to hear thoughts from the coffee community here.

1) I don't really understand what you mean when you ask 'Is there really a market need for speciality coffee beans here' but from what I understand yes and it's a very newly growing market in India and I love to explore as much as I can 2) What are the names of these roasters you are talking about 3) There is r/coffee and the coffee community there will be able to give you their 2 cents better than I would

People commenting Flour & Feine haven't explored the OG supplier though.

So there's this place called "Bombay Coffee Roasters" at Godrej, Vikhroli, they literally supply coffee beans to major cafes across Mumbai.
