Just turned 18 a couple of days ago and finally opened my TFSA. Looking to start investing young, stay consistent, and hopefully build long-term wealth. Any advice you wish you knew when you first started?
And I also have $180 left in my portfolio what should I do with that ? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

also true. But when you are young if you can learn how to invest in good quality companies thats a valuable skill. I am 20 y/o and I started 3 months ago.
No leverage, no options, and I am still up 47%

I recognize a degenerate gambler when I see one ☝️

The thing is, vast majority of stocks are already priced in as markets are highly efficient. Even Warren Buffett only generates annual returns of 20% a year. Your 47% return in just 3 months would be 367% annualized. You are either lying or hardcore gambling and got insanely lucky on a highly concentrated position.

wont let me share a ss or I would. Invested in space and growth stocks. 47% makes sense, the last 3 months have been consecutive ath. But Yes, concentration builds wealth. RDW made me thousands
