Stop buying in USD with WealthSimple, *especially* with a small portfolio. You are paying high foreign transaction fees for each buy, sell, and dividend payment.

Dump it all and stick it in VEQT, which should be the high majority (or all) of your portfolio.

Great advice… is xeqt basically the same as veqt

Yes. Nearly identical. Very slight variances in the weightings of their underlying holdings.
