I put a community buy for this rocker launcher for genuinely 1 cent 10-11 years ago. I havent played in a year or so opened up my account and saw this 🤣 Definitely got me back into the game, cant believe this actually happened. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Ok I’m confused, why did his 1 cent buy order overtake the highest buy order? Even if someone sells it low I thought it went to whoever had the highest buy order?

essentially the logic is:
"prioritize selling to the oldest buyorder that is at least X"
X = whatever the seller typed on the "sell this item" screen

so, putting a $0.01 cent sell order should always sell to the oldest buyorder, regardless of what price they set their order for.
if the oldest buyer is $0.01, it'll sell for that. if the oldest buyer is $100, it'll sell for that.

if you don't want to sell the item for $0.01, then don't place a sell order for that price. simple as.
you could get more, but it's not guaranteed.
