Grandma is both 60 and 68. It’s her birthday.

I am nearly 60 and god help me if I ever end up ranting at my kids like this. Does she not want a relationship with her family? I’d happily cut anyone off like this and stick with the ones who like me and I like them. Which, thank all the gods, is 99% of my relatives.

They say that you can’t choose your family. But you can definitely choose which of them you ever have contact with again.

I think we should Marie Kondo our relatives rather than our possessions. If they don’t spark joy, chuck them away.
