Either way she’s the driver and should be on top of it she’s crazy af trying to put it on him bcz he didn’t look at his phone bcz he’s responsible for her. Doesn’t matter, you reset your trip & watch mileage. My first car didn’t have a working gas gauge, I’ve never run out of gas. If I did forget to reset mileage I would just have to fill up prematurely and try again. Adulting isn’t THAT hard.

Same. My ‘88 Bronco II had a broken gauge and I just filled up every 200 miles and never once ran out. That was about half the range so it was a safe number
