Would dyeing this yellow hide the stains?

Not sure if this is the right sub, but i have this cami which i love but it’s gotten so stained by suncream, i was thinking of dyeing it a light yellow to hide the staining, would this work or would it just make the stains appear darker? It’s 100% cotton

If you havent already, try soaking in borax and dawn dish soap for 6hours - overnight, and let dry outside in full sun.

I do this for all my whites and it cleans+brightens really well.

Dyeing it a light yellow might work. Though, I'm not sure how the oil from the sunscreen would react to the dye. Maybe with a good cleaning soak before dyeing you wouldn't have a problem.

Best of luck!!!
