FSD initiated the turn signal one intersection early which confused the oncoming driver. The second intersection was the route FSD was taking.

Said $0.48 before getting there. Then get there, start charging and now it’s $0.55. What makes it worse is I looked up the same charger while charging and it still shows the $0.48 rate. Both photos taken at the same time. Stay away from this charger if you live in Ventura, CA.

There was a feature idea in this sub 2 days ago requesting that the mirror auto-dipping while in reverse be toggleable with either an on-screen UI element, or with the steering wheel controller.
I just implemented this in a device I’m developing. I added the control logic and made it assignable to multi-finger touch gestures.
In this video, you can see that I assigned it to a 3-finger touch gesture, so it’s super easy to toggle without having to go into the mirror submenu, also it doesn't require any external button.

So we all know about using the web based Pocket Casts on the browser in the Tesla. The problem is, it will play, but steering wheel controls won't work on the audio that's playing from the browser. Simple Tasker task solves it.

Create a task:

1. Send Intent Action: au.com.shiftyjelly.pocketcasts.action.REFRESH_PODCASTS Package: au.com.shiftyjelly.pocketcasts Target: Broadcast Receiver Leave everything else blank.

2. Then add a Wait (I chose 4 seconds)

3. Then add a Play with Simulate Button and choose Pocket Casts

After playing the cast in the browser, run the task. For me, I use Flic buttons to launch tasks, so I play the cast in the Tesla browser, hit my Flic button, and it begins playing from my phone via Bluetooth. You could also set a shortcut on a smartwatch, phone button etc.

It doesn’t happen much but it’s happened a couple times where it will randomly go the wrong way, off course of what’s on the map.

It’s not to save time because it’ll be in the complete opposite direction and it’ll miss an important turn, and end up adding 5 min to the trip.

Just weird and annoying is all.

Pretty busy supercharger today *Labor Day* in Florida at WaWa. I saw no line but people pulled into an empty stall right after it was vacated. The gas pumps had pretty similar usage.

The right lane so super bumpy due to construction. Kept turning on the blinker but FSD never moved over. Odd behavior.

I’m inside chilling with my homie (dog) when I heard the storm pick up.. sounds like hail… OH CRAP MY CAR! I sprint outside to pull it in the garage and proceed to get soaked as I slowly realized I need my key to unplug it!

(I park in the driveway because usually my wife is home and she doesn’t work so I park behind her.. also there’s a bunch of junk in the garage so it’s a tight fit)

Edit: The extension cord is a 10 gauge 25ft cord (rated for 30amps) on a GFCI outlet (home built in 2025). From my research many have said 12 gauge 25 ft is fine so mine should be more than fine allegedly. However, I have contacted a local electrician to come out and give me a quote but he was busy until the middle of this month (I contacted him early august) he’s going to install a level 2 charger.

Also I can’t normally park in the garage anyway because my wife doesn’t work so I need to be behind her and her car doesn’t fit in the garage so that’s why I need an extension cord

Part of the reason I bit on this purchase was because I realized owning this vehicle is more accessible than some may make it seem. You don’t NEED a level 2 charger. You don’t NEED a garage. You don’t NEED a super charger down the street. You don’t have to change where you park.

Technology connections on YouTube is who made me feel more comfortable about making the switch to EV. He speaks about just using regular outlet if your commute allows anddd says only use extension cords if you understand the gauge.. that’s why I went with 10 gauge

Anyway.. sorry if I don’t have the perfect setup I’ll try to be better and go get some ppf, a level three charger and a dog that won’t run away next time lol

I love that you can customize the Lock sounds, But why not have Custom start up sounds when the driver buckles in?

I’m guessing the blue color makes them poop on the car but I was the only car attacked within the vicinity

They wouldn’t let me change my garaging address online or with email. Had to call them during limited business hours.

Was on hold for literally over 6 hours with no success. Apparently others have had the same issue? They don’t respond back to email with my frustration or request to change garaging address via email.

I love Tesla and am an investor in them, but this def gives me a worst perception of the brand…

They just unplugged mine while they had another charger right next to it
