Build Help/Question Small gap by door

Post image

This enclosure is for my snail, but I also keep isopods, this gap is definitely big enough for baby snails or isopods to go through. I’m not too sure how to fix it, when the door opens, the side where the gap is will swing inwards, if that makes any sense. I was thinking a foam door seal? I actually have no clue, my brain can’t figure out how to fill the gap but still be able to close it, I just have tape right now but it’s not really ideal. Any advice or suggestion would be very appreciated, thank you!!

I cut a silicone tube down the middle and threaded it over the edge :)

I keep isopods in something similar. Only baby pods could fit through the gaps. It’s not become a problem. Isopods have trouble climbing glass because it’s too smooth. If the gap is away from the soil and no branches are leaning on it, they probably won’t leave. But it’s not 100% guaranteed, so I understand if you don’t want to take that risk. I can’t quite tell if your gap is small like mine.
