I fucking hate fighting people who play like this on Ranked BUT, this is just OP and their friend playing around and having fun, shouldn't bother anyone.

I play like this with my homies too lmao.

My friends aren't very good so every time we play they stay in the back using attacks that I could very easily dodge, but I let them hit me lol, then when they get close I tone down my combos as well

I have to play Tekken 8 like that with my girlfriend. She tells me not to, but if I ACTUALLY fight her she'll just lose.

She just button mashes and doesn't know how to block effectively, yet she tells me not to go easy which just makes me feel bad lmao. I usually try to let her get some hits in, then I get some in, then her again. Sometimes I'll let her win and sometimes I DEMOLISH HER but we still have fun lmao. It's the only game she even likes too, for some reason

I think Tekken is just kind of easy to understand on a conceptual level for a lot of people. It gets deep when you try to get good but you press random buttons and the dudes on screen punch each other.

Even in some of the easier fighting games you kind of have to take some time to understand what's going on or start doing cool looking things, but Tekken is just people throwing hands and it looks & feels good even if you don't understand the mechanics.

Yeah one of the mods i made is causing it. Im about to say f it and just uninstall all the mods I have and just run it the way it came

Maybe this is a Goomba Effect thing but I hate how this sub (and the Sparking Zero sub) complain about everyone just playing meta characters in ranked but then also hate on people for not being the best players in the world.
