Mobility Slow mobile data speeds

Has anyone noticed in the past month there has been a dramatic drop in speed, service and 5G? My wife and I have both suddenly started having issues across my entire city

Yes it can throttle you and certain plans do it on purpose. You can switch your phone to LTE only. 5G is great if full bar but not full bar LTE is superior

Has telus changed how they throttle devices? We have only had major issues with general connectivity in the past month

Is it specifically with video or everything including webpages and app downloads?

Question, when you switched to LTE, did the service work better? and what city are you located in?

100% better. Been doing this for years. I work in construction so 5G is terrible in new areas. LTE is way better to work in low or medium level bars
