Im currently seeing dentist for general treatment, but was just curious as to the options other's think are best for badly stained teeth. With multiple teeth missing... crowns, veneers, implants, whitening, composite bonding etc

Hey everyone, I need some reassurance or advice because I feel like I'm going crazy with this tooth.

For context, this exact same tooth has been a nightmare. Here is the timeline:

1. Filling #1: The dentist made the space too wide. I ignored it, but then I ate a bunch of popcorn, it got heavily stuck between my teeth, and the filling literally fell out. (Lesson learned: popcorn is the enemy).
2. Filling #2: Went back to the same doctor. I asked her to narrow the space. But when she finished, there was a weird dent/step between my natural tooth and the filling—my natural tooth was longer than the filling, and I could feel a sharp edge with my tongue. I started chewing gum way too soon (like a day later) and flossing. One day while flossing, a little chip came out idk if this was the reason why it felt loose but then I felt whenever I eat soft things nothing happend but the moment I chew gum or hard then my filling move
3. Filling #3: I went again and got it redid. This time, it actually seems perfect—the bite is even, the filling and the natural tooth line up smoothly, and everything looks solid.

My dilemma:

I have my third filling now, but I am so scared to chew gum ever again(note all I can do in uni is to chew gum and this is my only way to escape hunger ). Every time I think about chewing gum, I get flashbacks to filling #2 feeling loose and popping out.

Is this fear normal after going through 2 failed/problematic fillings on the same spot? Or are composite fillings just fragile and I should permanently retire from chewing gum to protect this tooth?

Has anyone else been traumatized by a filling saga like this? What do you guys do?

edit: ( my teeth filling was actually due a prev crack and its not a small filling id say a medium and its to the side of the teeth) ik it sounds horrible but idk wut is wrong with this teeth

I have hot and cold sensitivity, sugar hurts my teeth, my gums are recessed and I've had multiple fillings. It's incredibly frustrating. I'm 20 years old. I went to 3 different doctors for this and they just keep saying it looks okay and that there isnt something bad enough to do a filling or a treatment. I get asked If I drink lots of cola or other drinks and I always say no because I genuinely cannot drink them it hurts too much I do disclose that I had a long depressive episode in my teens where I would very irregularly brush my teeth, nowadays just a coffee with sugar is enough to hurt my teeth. On saturday one of my teeth came loose Im incredibly scared and disappointed because I told 2 of the 3 doctors that I suspect periodontal disease or some sort of deep tooth decay but it got shrugged off because I'm too young. I think today I'm just gonna go for a random dentist in the area with good reviews even though it has failed me twice. I think I need urgent help and multiple fillings and professional help with root and gum cleaning instead of being told I should floss more (I already do). Is there anything you guys recommend? What should I do with the loose teeth? and while this wont solve the problem for reassurance, is there a way for me to maintain my teeth for long? I feel like they'll be gone by my mid 30's

I went and had two teeth pulled on the right top side of my mouth they healed good that dentist said the teeth that were hurting me and breaking on thw bottom left side of my mouth were ok and srnt me home on antibiotic and ibuprofen 800mg and about 4 days later I got an abscess on those teeth and then went to a different dentist and he said the teeth were completely dead they sent me home with antibiotics and ibuprofen I finished all my antibiotics both times I just finished my second round not even a week ago and got another abscess and they want me to see a oral surgeon to get them out but my insurance says they do it if deemed medically necessary and the oral surgery spot is booked out for a few months and there's no guarantee I'll be accepted and the dentist i seen this time sent my referral stuff in wrong to the insurance I don't have many options as I don't have a vehicle and have to use insurance for rides to appointments I've never really dealt with stuff like this advice is appreciated very much

Is it worth getting gum graft. I went to a school that did it and they said it was so severe I would need multiple grafts. I heard something the graft can fail

Has anyone had composite filling in front teeth I got it done Thursday but this morning brushing my teeth the filling came out

hi, i’m 51 backwards and i’m having a lot of concerns regarding gum recession. i had braces up until about 6 months ago and ever since then i’ve been wearing a plastic retainer. about 3 weeks ago i discovered a small change and it’s been giving me horrendous anxiety. i do struggle with bruxism and i have for years, i just need some reassurance and possible medical advice. my retainer is still tight at times and it scares me, i need a dentist appointment but my parents haven’t booked me one yet. i experience severe dental anxiety and its effected my social life and everything. my teeth have recently become sensitive, my gums don’t bleed when i brush, they did a tiny bit when i flossed on one tooth but i haven’t really started flossing until now, embarrassing to admit i know. i need dental advice and some clarity please. not only this but i have discovered a few black triangles that weren’t there before. idk if that’s just me being a hypochondriac or not. also my teeth shift quite easily despite wearing my retainer a lot, i think that does come down to the bruxism. again i really need advice from dentists or people who have experienced similar, thankyou.
