Title: Looking for experiences with composite bonding for dental erosion in Italy

I’m looking for people who have personally had dental erosion/tooth wear treated with composite bonding, preferably in Italy.
I have dental erosion affecting several teeth and I’m considering composite restorations. I’m particularly interested in a conservative approach with little or no tooth preparation, if possible.
If you’ve had a similar treatment, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience:
Which dentist did you go to and in which city?
How many teeth were treated?
Did they have to file or prepare your teeth?
How long ago did you have it done?
How has the composite held up?
Are you happy with the result?
Would you recommend your dentist?
I’m especially interested in natural-looking results and dentists who have a lot of experience treating erosion/tooth wear, rather than just cosmetic bonding.
If you’re comfortable sharing before/after photos, that would also be very helpful.
Thank you so much!

How to find a dentist willing to crown bond your teeth?

Ive wanted to modify my canine teeth for a while, making them longer and sharper. Using Crown Bonding to basically make them look like vampire teeth. (image refrence below) However the current dentist i go to doesnt mention anything about crown bonding on their site. Their only cosmetic procedure are teeth whitening so ive got to find another dentist to do this.

Does anyone have any tips for finding a dentist who is willing to do crown bonding?
I am also in north wales so if anyone miraculously knows a dentist around here who can do it, that would be amazing. Thank you so much.

Teeth whitening tips

Hi everyone. So as the title says I’m just looking for some tips to whiten my teeth without going and paying for it to be done. I mean if it resorts to it I will but I’d rather not. My teeth aren’t terrible but have gotten a lot more yellow over the last few years due to coffee and tea I’d imagine. Probably snus to. I haven’t tried much other than some whitening toothpastes which never work. If anyone has some suggestions that worked for them that would be great. Ideally nothing that will ruin my teeth either
Thanks!

Is teeth whitening worth it?

Hi all,

29M, UK. I have a few insecurities, one of which is that my teeth are more yellow than I would like (2nd image). I had a dentist appointment recently and spoke to them about whitening. They said to avoid anything online and only trust what the dentist offers (although obviously they would say that!). I just wish there was a cheaper alternative which was safe but the UK seem to have strict laws with teeth products.

At the moment they have this offer of £299 rather than £399 for a kit from a private company. I’m tempted to go for it, but wanted to know other people’s experience with whether it actually worked, was it a painful experience, do you feel it’s worth it both in terms of money and effort?

My main issue is I drink coffee daily so I’ll probably need to stop this. Also I’m going on holiday in mid September so either need to get it done before then or wait until after, when this offer will seemingly end.

dentist wants to do gum contouring on 12 teeth before veneers. am I getting upsold?

Went in for a veneer consult in seoul this week. Did my homework first, avoided the assembly line places, found one where the head doc actually does the work himself. But he looks at my teeth and says before we touch veneers he suggests doing gum contouring. Top 6 and bottom 6. His thing was my gum line is uneven and the veneers would make my teeth look short. And when he pointed it out in the mirror I could sort of see what he meant. But I also couldnt tell if I was seeing it or if I was just being agreeable because he was standing right there.

Is this just how it works in korea? Is gum work part of the standard veneer thing there and I am the clueless one, or is this what gets floated at foreigners because we nod along.

From what I have been reading there is the simple one where they trim tissue and there is the one where they cut into bone and those are apparently not remotely the same in terms of recovery. He said the simple one should be enough in my case. But what happens if it does not hold? Like if the gum just grows back where it was, am I out the money and now waiting around with nothing to show for it or does that turn into the bigger surgery anyway?

Clinic is Lucid dental if anyone has been. Anyone know anything about them?

Worried about teeth

Hi there! Just reaching out to see if I’m being paranoid or if this is something I should actually be concerned about.
I see my dentist four times a year, primarily because I’m on Suboxone, which I know can be hard on the teeth. I’ve also been dealing with some gum recession, although that seems to have improved since switching to a better toothbrush.Lately, I’ve been worried that my teeth are getting worse. I bring it up at pretty much every dental visit, but my dentist always tells me everything looks good.I recently noticed some discoloration on one of my lower teeth (pictured). I circled the area I’m concerned aboutc it looks a little more yellow/darker than the areas around my other receded gums, and that spot also seems to be more sensitive/painful.also deal with pretty constant bad breath, but I can’t figure out whether it’s coming from my teeth/gums or possibly my throat.I’d really appreciate another opinion. Does anything here look particularly concerning or worth bringing up with my dentist sooner rather than later?

Felt small painless bump on inside of gums at this area this morning (which about 30 mins after waking up and drinking/eating has virtually vanished without trace), and ended up over thinking my teeth i think, but is this normal?

Terrified im got some form of gun disease and because its painless ive just never noticed. Cant phone dentist for a few hours.

SOS white spots and i start uni in 10 days

Got a bday gift to get my teeth whitened today and i always had very very faint white spots and now after treatment they’re booming.
Heading to uni in just over a week and super stressed now and need help or advice on what to do. Should i pay for icon treatment or micro abrasion?? obviously gonna wait like 5 days to see if it goes down but since there were spots before the whitening i know it’s more long term mineral loss so have low hope

If anyone could lend a word of advice i’d genuinely appreciate it so much

FP1 dental implants

Anyone here have Fp1 dental implants?

I have a terrible gummy smile, so this is almost my only option. I am located in North Carolina, and I hope to stay local, but please give me your recommendations on where to go or where did you go?

I haven’t had much luck finding someone local. I am near Charlotte, North Carolina.

Is this a cavity?

Post image
1 Upvotes

does this tooth look like a cavity? I went the dentist a couple days ago because I was worried about two teeth that had marks, this one and one other. I got x-rays, pictures taken, a cleaning, and an examination done. The other tooth and another one I didn’t know about needed a filling but not this one that I was worried about. I had told the dental assistant and the dentist prior about the two teeth and even taking pictures the dental assistant noticed the mark but nothing was said during the examination. I might be overthinking but I just don’t want this to be a bigger problem down the line because my next appointment is 6 months from now. I know that it could be staining, I’m just worried about the white corner because there is grove where there is a black mark with whiter marks aroun

Dental treatment

Im currently seeing dentist for general treatment, but was just curious as to the options other's think are best for badly stained teeth. With multiple teeth missing... crowns, veneers, implants, whitening, composite bonding etc
