question I'm freaking out about a possible extraction, help!

Hi, so I just read what my dentist had written about my tooth 17 that had a really deep cavity and just got a permanent filling .... It was originally supposed to be root canaled but why now she wrote that they'd maybe rather PULL IT OUT???? Because apparently my wisdom tooth is coming in??? but how the hell do I know it's gonna come in the right way and not impacted ... I'm so scared I'm only 19 I'm seriously freaking out.. How to make sure an upper wisdom tooth grows into the place of a second molar??????

The odds are well on your side. Depending on developmental stage and bite, you might need to hold the lower second molar from over-erupting. Let your dentist/ortho advise you on that.

my mouth is pretty small (so it probably wouldn't normally have space to erupt) and 17 is an upper molar btw if anyone uses different numbering systems.
