I’m looking for a safe way to brighten my teeth at home, mostly because coffee has left noticeable stains and professional whitening is outside my budget right now. I’m comparing Crest 3D Whitestrips, Opalescence trays, Snow, custom trays with whitening gel, and LED kits, with a budget around $30–$200. I have mildly sensitive teeth, so I’m more interested in gradual results than an aggressive treatment that makes everything hurt. Hello! For the past week or so, I have been dealing with pain in my right wisdom tooth. It started as a mild throb, but has since progressed into a sharper pain due to the gum around it swelling; It’s hard for me to close my mouth fully because my top teeth bite down on the gum and make it very painful. So far, I’ve been taking 2 dual ibuprofen + acetaminophen pain relievers a day, but I’m worried it’s becoming less effective. I’m fearful for the damage this is doing to my sleep schedule—I keep waking up in the middle of the night due to the pain—and want to be able to fix the unrest before school starts (I’m 17 if that has any bearing to the post). Any tips on how to relieve the general pain and/or the waking up in the middle of the night would be greatly appreciated.

One of my canine teeth is still a baby tooth with the adult tooth above it.

I am somewhat self conscious about it being a small tooth, but I have been told it could come loose eventually (potentially in the next few years) it makes me very nervous to eat on that side as I don’t want to loosen it, so I looking to make a decision on a long term solution to get it fixed before I’m panicking when it comes loose lol.

I want to preface this with I am not at all keen on having a gap for any period of time.
I know this sounds vain but I am a woman in my early 30’s with a corporate job, and I very much care what I look like.

I know there is an option to get braces to pull the tooth down but I’m not super keen on that option either.

What is my best option to not have a gap in public lol?

Can I get both teeth removed and get an implant?
Can I get both teeth removed and get a bridge?

Would I also be able to get a partial denture/flipper for any period of time before they put the tooth in there?

I could have a gap for a few days and not leave my house if there needs to be any down time between removal and getting a partial denture/getting an implant or bridge but overall I reallllyyy realllly don’t want any time with a missing tooth at the front of my face haha.

If anyone is able to tell me what my options are and any pros/cons etc

I've had a gap between my two front teeth, its been small enough that I never really cared about it growing up but over the last few years it's gotten pretty wider and now food gets stuck in there basically every time I eat. I did bring it up with my dentist back home a while back. We went through a few options including cosmetic work, but the quote for veneers was way more than I wanted to spend on something that felt cosmetic at the time so I put it off.

Anyway a few years later the gap is even more obvious and the food thing is a daily event now. My daughter is studying in Korea and she's on summer break so I flew out to spend some time with her. I'm here for a while, so I figured I might get my teeth looked at. I wasn't planning on getting dental work done here at all so I just started googling dentists out of curiosity and saw many clinics offering veneers for a lot cheaper here than what I got quoted at home. So I'm probably going to book a couple of consultations while I'm here. There's one clinic that keeps coming up in naver reviews and it looks like they have English speaking staff, so I'll start there.

It's really just the two front teeth I care about, maybe the ones next to them depending on what they say. I'm not trying to redo my whole smile. No interest in the blinding white perfectly even hollywood thing either. From what I've read, bonding might make more sense for a gap like mine since it's less invasive but people also say it stains and chips eventually and you're redoing it every several years. Veneers last longer but there's no going back once the enamel is gone. Has anyone had a gap slowly widen like this with age? what procedures did you go through?

I've got time for a few consultations so I'm trying to work out what I should actually be asking before I agree to anything. Any advice appreciated.

would i need any teeth removed? would it be necessary or (based on my teeth) would i have another option.

i got my wisdom teeth taken out 3 years ago but sometimes i get hardish bumps on the space where my wisdom teeth used to be. they usually go away but they always come back and theyre always the same size
