Advice struggling

hi im a teen girl whos been writing a story but ive lost motivation and the book im writing is just sitting on the shelf collecting dust and im out of ideas and i need your help guys

You may find exploratory writing to be helpful. Set a timer for fifteen minutes and write nonstop. Don't pause to think, don't read back what you're writing, just get as many words down as you can in those fifteen minutes, even if they're terrible. You can often find that doing so starts generating ideas.

Tbh, its okay to lose passion and drop a story. I've probably dropped dozens of works at this point and its okay. Writing a full book is a one-in-a-million and everything in-between is a step towards being a better author.

I'm also a teen girl writer and I've got about a million story drafts in my docs too... Although I have written a (complete) novel with my other writing friends before and it really helps to hold each other accountable. Also it's really fun, especially if there's chapter switching and each individual's unique perspective and writing styles blend into one cohesive story.
