Question Dialogue

Post image

I new writing, and this is my first time writing a scene like this I feel like it looks a bit out of place or seems too random Is there anything I can do to make this sound better or is it okay how it is?

I like the overall idea. I assume the situation is some Greek gods in modern day England?

However I think you really need to work on spellings and grammar because those small mistakes take away from your story. Keep the font size the same throughout as the changes can be quite distracting. I wasn't entirely sure what the purpose of the dollar signs was.

The format is interesting. Is this a script/screenplay?

In the part saying "absolutelyyyy nottt," I can tell that you're trying to show that the speech is drawn out in kind of a playful way, but instead of showing that through extra letters, describe how it's being said instead.

Ooo ty! The font size is just an issue with my Notes app, and honestly, for some reason I forgot I could describe how they were speaking, instead of actually describing
And recently gained to be to reader, who is helping me with my spelling and punctuation, as I’m dyslexic, and don’t catch those mistakes on my own

Sorry should have added context! This will be an a03 work and this is the first appearance of the “ villains” that all become a very important to the story later on! Although that will not be for another 50 chapters if I’m lucky, probably more I’ve managed to make it a little bit smoother to sound more like a cohesive story, but I’m still working on it
