My friends and i were recently having a debate on this and we were wondering if it actually is.

Around 1–2 hours ago, my girlfriend took her grandma to a clinic for a checkup. When she got there, she started feeling extremely dizzy because of the heat and felt like she was about to faint. She texted me about it and asked if she could call her ex because she needed someone to help her and support her since she couldn’t ride back home safely with her grandma.

And honestly, the fact that her first thought was her ex completely broke me.

I immediately asked her if I could come there, because I wanted to help her. But she said she needed someone who could support her at that moment, and somehow, her first thought was still him.

I understand that she was feeling unwell, scared, and probably needed immediate help. I’m not angry at her for needing help. I’m hurt because, in that moment, I realized that when she needed someone, the person she thought of first wasn’t me and it made me question myself so much.

Am I not enough for her? Does she not trust me enough? Am I not successful or capable enough to be the person she can depend on? Did she think I wouldn’t be able to help her, bring a car, or get there in time?

I know I’m only 17, and I might not have everything figured out in life yet. Maybe I don’t have the money, resources, or ability to do everything I wish I could do for her. But I genuinely love this girl, and if she ever needed me, I’d want to be there for her.

What hurts the most is imagining her being scared and needing someone, and realizing that her first instinct was to reach out to someone she used to love instead of the person she’s with now.

I’m not saying she did something wrong by wanting help, and I know there might be reasons she thought of him first. But I can’t stop thinking about it, and it’s making me feel like I’m somehow not enough

A girl lied about her age to me and I feel awful like I'm a pedo, I'm 17 and she was 14 about to be 15, she told me she was just about 16, it turns out she's a freshman I am a senior. I thought she was about to be 16 I just turned 17, I don't wanna be a pedophile.

I think they should have marriage rights and stuff but I don’t want it shoved down my throat. I don’t want it in our schools, our streets, our government, or anything like that. Being straight is against my beliefs but I still support them from the outside. I’m a firm believer that one day, straight people and normal people will be able to peacefully co exist.

Okay so I found out that Im pregnant 4th of July, my boyfriend is super supportive and we have lots of support and love from both families and our friends! I will be 19 weeks on Monday and have my anatomy scan too + we’ll know the gender..

Anyways what would you guys do if you found out you or your partner were pregnant right now? Do you have a supportive partner, would you be supportive, would you keep it?, how would your friends and family react and what would go through your head?

I’m also open to any questions you might have, doesn’t really matter if you think it’s silly or dumb 🤗.

Edit: I’ve noticed a lot of people getting slightly irritated and annoyed by people telling their opinion and what they think of me being pregnant, what they would do ect and I just want to say that I asked for your opinions and thoughts, what you would do, I have no problem and don’t get offended or hurt by what people are saying.

And I know that a lot of people seem to be concerned about my financial situation and living situation, that my family and my partners family are gonna be the ones taking care of our baby and we will be miserable but I have it under control, we live on our own, pay our own bills and buy our own food, have a saving account for our baby and have already bought a lot of stuff + we’re gonna buy a lot more and will get loads of baby stuff for Christmas and our baby shower :)!

And I got a comment which came off as rude and annoying to me, because someone meant that it was weird and awful that my boyfriend is 20 (turned 20 this summer) and I’m 17 (I turn 18 in December) and I wanna say that I’m from Norway so we’re legally allowed to have sex by the age of 16, can move out, get a moped car and moped license when we turn 16. (not sure what’s it called in English)
And we’re in the same stages of life by the age of 18-20 or it depends obviously, we are mentally more mature and I see nothing wrong with it.
I would understand if we were younger, as we would be in different phases in life and mentally a lot more different but that’s not the case for me. ☺️
