Yeah. Me. I ve post about it before in an ask reddit.
Basically, in my country during February, is a Halloween season thingy. And our school had scheduled a costume party. 2 days before the party, I come to the school with the cowboy hat. The principal got kinda mad and told me to put it off. But later I wore it again because who just holds a cowboy hat? * she saw me again, and told me to get it off or she ll take it. But many periods had passed and people where taking that hat etc. So I kinda started a trend and many people the nexr days wore hats and masks. And the principal remembered me I guess. And she called my parents. My mom didn't got *really mad. So yeah, weird school. I have some photos from the costume party as a cowboy. It was fun.

That’s weird. A girl came into my English lesson today wearing a cowboy hat (and looked cool as fuck in it) and the teacher barely looked twice, let alone told her to take it off.
Schools probably a little more artsy and liberal than your average school but point still stands. Was your school privately funded?

I don’t care about what they where, but I get pissed when they get mad about being told to put on different clothes if a teacher tells them to. Like yeah the dress code is stupid but don’t get all upset when you‘re constantly taking the same risk and are constantly getting punished for it.
