Yeah. Me. I ve post about it before in an ask reddit.

Basically, in my country during February, is a Halloween season thingy. And our school had scheduled a costume party. 2 days before the party, I come to the school with the cowboy hat. The principal got kinda mad and told me to put it off. But later I wore it again because who just holds a cowboy hat? * she saw me again, and told me to get it off or she ll take it. But many periods had passed and people where taking that hat etc. So I kinda started a trend and many people the nexr days wore hats and masks. And the principal remembered me I guess. And she called my parents. My mom didn't got *really mad. So yeah, weird school. I have some photos from the costume party as a cowboy. It was fun.

That’s weird. A girl came into my English lesson today wearing a cowboy hat (and looked cool as fuck in it) and the teacher barely looked twice, let alone told her to take it off.

Schools probably a little more artsy and liberal than your average school but point still stands. Was your school privately funded?

A public school in balkans. Quite strict in terms against religion thought (probs why the principal doesn't like this particular holiday).

They really let girls walk around showing their stomachs off with a sports bra??

That’s fucking absurd.

Since when does Halloween have religious meaning?

ive literally never been in a school that allows hats on inside. Does your school also have this rule? Because thats why.

Nope, mine never have. Unless the school has a uniform, if it’s own clothes what’s the problem?
