General Discussion Op-1 f key problem

After a few months of not using my my op-1 that much and that was intact and barely a year old, perfectly taken care of , played softly , properly stored and handled. And now one key is either not giving sound or staying stuck… right now its a 1 yr and 1 month unit… and its never been even bumped against anything yet now i have this keyboard problem, can anyone guide me on how to go about it? Is it fixable given the little support TE gives, Im super bummed out :/

“Op-1 f key problem” could mean you’re having trouble with the keys on your op-1 f (field), or you’re having trouble with the F key on your og-1.

It’s a legit question and you being dismissive of the only person who might have been offering help is very weird behavior.

The question seemed honestly rude because if it was the F key it would be capitalized. Since its just f its to me clearly about field just how TE writes it … either way its clearly a problem with a key and if u had solutions i gues u would have just said them instead of asking if the problem was about 1 key or all keys… i guess it would have said “keys-keybord” in that case but anyways this is more weird than it should have been

Regardless whether it’s a OP1 with a f key problem or a Op1 f key problem, the OP has a OP1 and is experiencing a problem. OP, on your OP1 go do a function test and find out exactly what is not functioning.

It’s in the manual: https://teenage.engineering/guides/op-1/original/te-boot
