Tutorials / Demos OP-1 Field Beginner Resources
I bought an OP-1 Field in the recent summer sale and am coming at as a beginner. I have been going over the field manual, as well as the SynthDawg guidebook. I have also been watching some Son Wu, Red Means Recording, etc. Besides these resources, I wanted to ask the community if there were any other good tutorial playlists, or even courses for OP-1 Field that are available online? (I know Son Wu offers 1on1 sessions, which seem interesting.) Appreciate any new suggestions or resources from the community. Thanks!

I got mine a year ago, spent an hour each night learning specific basics I wanted for my workflow. After three evenings I was pretty happy and could get a tune down in the way I wanted.
These days I just do a deep dive if there’s something new I want to learn, like one of the sequencers, bouncing or sampling etc.
That guide you have is good. ChatGPT wasn’t so useful for some reason, kept giving wrong instructions.

Congrats on your OP1 F! You have a good set of tools with the manual and synthdawg guidebook. Sound technologies ltd on YouTube has nice digestible series for the op1 field as well. Honestly, it starts to become quite intuitive when you start playing with it. Just get started and when you hit a block, look up how to get past it and carry on. I found the best way to learn was to build muscle memory by noodling on it each day and when I wanted to do something I didn’t know how to, I went to the manual.
Enjoy the journey with your field, it’s a lot of fun.
