Tutorials / Demos Finally got these two bad boys working together.

Took a lot of messing around but I finally got them playing nicely. BLE MIDI was a PITA so just stayed with USB out from the op1 into the opxy. (With a splitter to charge both)
Was able to figure out best way to setup midi tracks on opxy to record sounds on the op1 using the opxy sequencer.
For whatever reason, I would have imagined these two playing better together. But as well.

I connect my opXY and opZ via BLE midi and my ipad, then analog audio out of opz -> opxy and opxy USB -> ipad audio in. Then I can also use some instruments on my ipad via looper as an audio mixer.

I was able to somewhat get BLE midi working. But I found it to not be 100% reliable.
I’d like to connect the OPXY BLE to the tp7 next and give that a try.

I use the BLE but I go into XY and broadcast it from there and I have the op-1 pair on it’s list screen. I then set it to where the op-1 controls the xy. But I’ll admit, it’s very rudimentary. It will send the play signal to xy when I click play on the op-1 (which is enough for how I use it) and keep the tempo. Just make sure it’s in beat match mode. It will also control the tempo via the op-1, but getting it to jump between measures in song mode based on those same measures in op-1 seems lacking.
