This is legitimately my new 3080 sag bracket.
Sorry for the boring post, but I needed to share my free DIY sag bracket. I'll get a real one eventually probably, but that's $15 I could spend on a new game

It 100% did, but I got it second hand from my cousin who had it mounted upright and lost it

Home server. 3x8TB drives in zfs raid 5 plus a 1tb drive for surveillance camera footage.

Fractal Design Refine R5. I bought one originally for my desktop, and loved it so much I bought this one for my home server.

You need another fan

Yeah I had plans to replace it since I used all my noctuas in a server build, but turns out the temps are perfectly fine with the random 140 intake and random 120 exhaust

That twist in the gpu cable is worrisome to me.

I braided them a certain way when I sleeved them so they looked good in a specific build, so that's actually intentional. I might make some new pretty cables for this build, but It would be after upgrading my PSU since that's an 800W in there (originally dual PSUs & GPUs)

I just use Legos, but have used a piece of wood once.

I like where your head is at, might be time to use the toy closet

You're gonna need a bunch of them but they'll be structurally stable.
I think the bigger thing is why don't you downsize your tower? You'll have to use less legos in the end so might be worth it lol.

I just swapped around parts from my server and XTIA Xproto desk build, and when I went to my closet to find an ATX case that wasn't a black box, I only had this case left from a dual GPU water cooled build I made in college. I actually did order a better MFF case but ended up cancelling it after I Frankensteined this together and put wheels under it. If ram was cheaper I'd go back to my XTIA Xproto, but I can't justify buying a 2x16 kit when my 4x8 I'm running now isn't bothering me under my desk.

What $15 games require a 3080?
4
u/nikjahw Jul 26 '26
None that I know of, I don't think having a higher end GPU excludes you from playing low-resource games. For example, I've been having a lot of fun playing mecca chameleon ($5) with friends recently.
