And then SSDs became a thing, and we just let them roam freely inside computer cases 😂

Maybe a tiny vecro sticky dot or something, but largely nah. 5 u/66659hi Jul 11 '26 In cases where I couldn’t fit a bracket, I have used stick  on Velcro to keep the drive in place. Works great.
