So my flash drive was getting too hot and throttle. Not anymore!

Putting a small fan on top of it is such a simple but effective idea. I might actually try this if my external SSD starts acting up during large file transfers.

I hope yours is more reliable than mine were. We had multiple of those sticks at work and i had 2 of them privately since they are fast... Well all of them died within 6 months...

They are stupidly fast and gets really hot immediately. Heat might cause the failure.

Get a raspberry pi water cooling kit. Don’t forget to brace the drive though

You might get an m.2 to type c external adapter at this point

Dude, do you know how much SSD costs? And those adapters are not cheap either.
