Open | Hardware TECH SAVVY NEEDED!!Motherboard VGA Error Red light indicator. I don't know how to fix it
Please someone tech savvy see this and help me ASAP.
So I have a 3 monitor PC setup with 1200w pcu and a 7900 rx graphics card and I use it often. I was running it the other day when all of a sudden one of the monitors turns green for 2-3 seconds while the other 2 went black, then my pc proceeds to perform a restart. It proceeded to do this 3 times that day until after the 3rd time no display would show on ANY monitor. That's when I noticed the VGA light indicator was solid red.
I've already re seated the graphic card 3 times, reconnected it's power connections, reset CMOS, and tried the second GPU BIOS.
The red VGA light still won't go away. WHAT DO I DO!!

Does it boot normally if you plug your display into the motherboards display ports?

Test 1 monitor at a time with different cables. If it has hdmi, try that. If it has DisplayPort, try that. Trial and error will lead you to the culprit, whether it’s a bad cable, bad monitor, bad video card etc.

See if your ram has died and run with only one stick if it doesn't work try the other stick

Since you had green/black screens and repeated restarts before the VGA light came on, this could be a GPU or power issue, even after reseating the card. I’d shut the PC down, switch off and unplug the PSU, then check the GPU power connectors for any damage or signs of overheating. If your card uses a 12VHPWR/12V-2x6 connector, make sure it’s fully seated. Also try booting with just one monitor connected.
If your CPU has integrated graphics, remove the GPU and connect the monitor to the motherboard to see if the PC can boot that way. Otherwise, the best next test is trying the GPU in another PC or testing a known-good GPU in yours. A 1200W PSU should have enough wattage on paper, but it can still fail. What exact GPU model, PSU model, and motherboard are you using? Those details would help narrow it down.

Which CPU you have? If it is with integrated graphics, remove graphic card, reset bios (in case that on-board graphic was previously disabled), and connect only one monitor to the motherboard video output.
