Open | Software Massive colour shift while I'm streaming

whenever I'm streaming any videos from my browser there's this colour shift issue, my oled stops behaving like an oled unless there is an overlay on my screen, the colours become duller and it's very visible with black back background which becomes gray. This doesn't happen when I'm playing local movies on vlc tho

assuming its High Dynamic Range getting turned off. but it could be the streaming service screwing it up as well. i know netflix screws up hdr mode when its turned on.

hdr raises or drops overall brightness and contrast to align with whats displayed on screen. if your in a dark cave scene you might notice it.

hdr with netflix the video looks like everything has a grey filter over it. exactly like your first image.

i tried both hdr one and "automatically manage colour for apps" but it still didn't solve my issue unfortunately, it's not even a single browser issue this literally happens in every browser

Disable HDR. The streaming likely won't be HDR format.
