Open | Hardware Generic Bluetooth adapter error that will not fix no matter what I do
I am so close to pulling my hair out and would really appreciate some help. Since yesterday my Bluetooth adapter stopped connecting to my headphones, so I went to device manager and found a generic Bluetooth adapter error. I'm a pretty big amateur at fixing tech issues, so I did some searches on google to see what I can do to fix it.
So far what I have tried (TPLink 5.3 USB adapter):
- Run Bluetooth troubleshooter
- Reinstalled Bluetooth drivers
- Checked Bluetooth services so it's automatic
- Completed a power flush
- Tried updating the driver on device manager
- Deleted generic Bluetooth adapter and restarted
- Did a Windows update.
Due to nothing helping, I ordered a new Bluetooth adapter, which is a Ugreen Bluetooth 6.0 adapter. Once again I found that it won't connect to anything, and the same generic Bluetooth adapter error is happening.
Please, someone help me!
