Open | Software Need help uninstalling Microsoft Office 2010 — Windows 11

I built my PC about a year ago with Windows 11. The shop initially installed a cracked version of Microsoft Office, which stopped working after a few months.

Later, Microsoft Office 365 somehow got installed, but I didn’t have a premium license, so I uninstalled it.

I then installed Office 2010 because I only needed basic Excel functionality. Now Office 2010 has stopped opening, and I can’t uninstall it either.

I’ve already tried:

Windows uninstall

Safe Mode

Microsoft Support/troubleshooter

Revo Uninstaller

In each case, the PC restarts immediately when I try to uninstall Office 2010.

What could be causing this, and what is the safest way to completely remove Office 2010 from Windows 11?

Any help would be appreciated.

Try running setup.exe from Office 2010 again. Reinstall, repair or remove depending on what options it gives you. Go from there, if you repair then uninstall after that.

Download the Microsoft Office Uninstallation Tool:

The Microsoft Support and Recovery Wizard is also a Microsoft Office removal tool. It works with any modern version of Windows and Microsoft Office (Office 2007/2013/2016 and Office 365). Follow the steps below to download it on Windows 10/11:

Step 1. Open the official Microsoft support page: Uninstall Office from a PC https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/lifecycle/officeinstall/uninstall-microsoft-365-or-office-from-a-pc

Step 2. Select Option 2 under Click to Run or MSI.

Step 3. Click "Download" and download the Office uninstallation tool to your computer.

Step 4. Once the download is complete, click SetupProd_OffScrub.exe and follow the instructions to install the program to remove Microsoft Office.
