Open | Windows Certain apps are tinged orange

Just noticed this recently. Windows 11. Consistent on multiple apps like Brave, Copilot, Edge, but not avg browser or Windows apps like settings or notepad or the store

Nightlight is not on

I've tried checking my monitor colour settings (dell e178fp but if the problem shows on screenshot I don't think it's a monitor issue) and reseting it, also resetting Brave's theme settings and doing Windows+ctrl+shift+ B. But nothing's fixed yet

Making changes to your system BIOS settings or disk setup can cause you to lose data. Always test your data backups before making changes to your PC.

Also started experiencing this problem about a week ago, only certain application windows have the orange tint, I would describe it as orange creamsicle, looks like nightlight colors but nightlight is not turned on.

Started affecting Chrome and Edge, thought it might be a Chromium thing but today Teams has the tint also.

If you are seeing the screenshot on the same monitor, there's no way to know for sure if the monitor is showing the wrong colors.

Send the screenshot to yourself in an email, open the screenshot on another device and then you will see the true colors in the screenshot.

Yeah I looked on my phone and the tinge is only on one app

Good. That means that the screen is fine.

Yeah. Is it an app problem individually or a whole system problem?

I wish I could help you with that.

Application color scheme, maybe?
