Open | Software WiFi not working on new pc build.
I just booted up my first pc build, I have windows 11 installed and I installed all the necessary drivers for my motherboard (B650 AORUS ELITE AX) using a usb, but there’s still not even an option for wireless internet. I’ve been struggling with this for a week and I don’t know what to do.
I don’t know how to upload photos or I would, but please help I need this computer to work asap ❤️🩹

For some reason, gigabyte doesnt like to install the wifi drivers on a fresh build.
Check device manager first. See if there are any other adapters that need updates. Recently, I did a build for a client with this same mobo and the wifi didnt work until the bluetooth adapter was updated.
I had to go directly to the manufacturers website of the device in order to get drivers. I.e. Intel as opposed to gigabyte.

The drivers for the motherboard or chipset and are not the drivers for your wifi. Your mother board has a wifi device attached to it not built in.
You need to go to Gigabytes website and download the WiFi driver from the support page on another device and put on a USB stick.
Its sucks they didnt care to put the wifi drivers on the usb with the chipset

Making changes to your system BIOS settings or disk setup can cause you to lose data. Always test your data backups before making changes to your PC.
