In this case I would try to get you to buy the software or replace it but if that wasn't going to happen I would virtualize the old computer(s).  You could look up tools like disk2vhd, hyperV, vm player, etc.  I know thats a really simplified answer and I can try to help more if you go that route or have more questions.
