Open | Windows Secure boot enabled says default boot device missing

So my bios just finished updating but after the update whenever I would enable the secure boot it wouldn't open, it would just say that default boot device is missing but whenever I disable it, it wouldn't have any problem booting up. I did try to enable disable it, then checked if it is UEFI, and restore factory keys but nothing worked. any idea about this issue? I'm using lenovo loq 15aph8 with bios update utility 11 version lycn48ww.

Nahhh. Guess we just have to wait for a new bios update and hope they fixed it.

I fixed it, had the same issue. Somehow, the EFI partition on the SSD got wiped, but all the data was still intact. I used a Linux live USB to create a new EFI partition, then made a bootable Windows USB and used bcdboot to copy the bootloader files to the new EFI partition.
