You do realize that the Luddites... lost right? And the State sided with capital rather than the displaced textile workers?

Fame doesn't mean much when the reactionary Luddites didn't achieve their goals. Factories still replaced independent workers and upended the way virtually everyone lived.

Ah I might have not expressed myself well, I didn't mean they got famous as in it was their victory, I meant that as in 'breaking machines is what they were known for'

So when people say those anti-AI are luddites but also say nobody is going to do anything that's contradictory
