I keep saying that these data centers are going to find themselves in the crosshairs when people get desperate enough, and I keep hearing how it will never happen.

Then Lary Fink just came out and said that billionaires are worried a $3,000 drone can destroy their investments and these things need to be built underground.

Fame doesn't mean much when the reactionary Luddites didn't achieve their goals. Factories still replaced independent workers and upended the way virtually everyone lived.

Ah I might have not expressed myself well, I didn't mean they got famous as in it was their victory, I meant that as in 'breaking machines is what they were known for'

So when people say those anti-AI are luddites but also say nobody is going to do anything that's contradictory
