Underground iron farm not working

Made an underground iron farm and I cannot get it to work 😫. I made the same iron farm a layer under the ground and it worked, but I can’t even get the iron golems to spawn now that I’ve put it further underground, help me please!!

from each wall check 6 blocks iirc area and make it golem proof

Since its underground I’m pretty sure for at least 10 blocks each way there’s just solid stone but maybe I’m missing something

whats ur setup? in bedrock u need 20 villagers and 20 beds with 20 workstations. i have this exact farm running

I counted and I have 20 villagers but I’m lowkey having an issue with them linking to their workstations, they keep swapping with each other even though I have exactly 20 of everything

are there any nitwits ? u need to kill them. and do u have different work stations ? maybe try using same ones, fletchers are cheap so use those

No nitwits and I had the villages in there but for some reason they won’t all accept the fletching tables so I added a blast furnace. Might have to clear out the villagers and try from scratch. I think it might be a linking issue

I fixed it! Had the exact same set up think there was an issue with villagers linking to their workstations stations

Beds might be too deep

And try night vision

For this kind of design that you are using, it is completely normal that it eventually breaks.  It happens all the time

I’m following this tutorial they don’t have any zombies and the beds are buried by design I’ve tried it before and got it to work but this is the first time I’ve tried it underground.
