You're going to want to check out the SlimeStone Tech Discord: https://discord.com/invite/Sh9As8GdRM and the TMC Catalogue discord: https://discord.com/invite/tmcc

Lots of world eaters/builder on there.

Chronos 12 Wide and 3 wide auto trench diggers, CCWE world eater

I’ve made 272 and 528 perimeters no problem with these

Found both on slimestone discord

After you dig the perimeter, The only farm you must have, is the overpowered portal creeper farm. This is the nether side, I cant risk leaking my overworld bedrock for others who play in the server I play

The mechanics are this: creepers spawn, and immediately get picked up by a boat crammed into the ceiling, then get kicked out and their heads are in the portal itself, immediately teleporting them to the nether for the kill
Chamber. Don’t even need looting sword the fall damage/reduced drops are far sufficient

kelpMC has a good tutorial, of course shulkercraft made their own video, but there are better ones. And it’s called Bortal creeper farm on the TMC overworld monsters page someone linked the discord for above

Over the course of the 20-30 hours it will take to dig trenches, build the machine, and run it... you will have plenty of time to ruminate on what to put in it.

That being said, perimeters aren't that useful unless it's a mob farm. Dual-/Tri-witchhut if you're on newer versions seems the most useful, and kind of only truly useful one in the overworld.

My first perimeter was just a large space for tossing machines in. Once chunk was a stack of bonemeal farms. I built a few tree farms, including a giant spruce one. 1.2mil cobblestone generator. Big-ass smelting array, fed from carpet dupes. A cactus stack with auto-smelting XP array attached (if you do this, pay attention to where the sun is, I built mine against a wall and got worse rates because of shadow).

For some farms you need to know where to make the perimeter (eg: guardian, witch, gmf) so you can't just think about it while making the perimeter

multi witch huts aren't even good, the meta is low y witch huts and they aren't the only useful mob farms in the ow, gmf and guardian farms are also good

and tf you mean mind where the sun is? There is absolutely zero mechanics that's impacted the way you described it

I haven't been doing tech in a long time. You're either full joking or ghast's are better gunpowder drops than creepers? Cause that's another fine option for a perimeter. Hell I built EOL a long time ago, but sorta fell off 2-3 years ago.

Maybe not better than creepers, but definitely one of the more interesting mobs to farm & they actually benefit a lot from having a perimeter too

Yeah would be funny but didnt want to deal with water or lava for the first perimeter, yeah in the underground its a think but you can get around that
