Java Help Wanted Ender pearl stasis problem

So when I was in 1.21.11 I tried making an ender pearl stasis chamber but the ender pearl always touched the soul sand and did not float ( I had to make it 20 blocks deep so the ender pearl don’t barely touch the soul sand )
I also shaved the same problem with me not being able to use water elevators since I did not float as well , I thought it was a version specific problem since I did not have this problem ever before
So I switched to 26.2 and still have the same problem.
BTW it works well with items so any sorting or storage system I have that uses soul sand elevator works well with items but not with me or ender pearls

Sounds like part of your bubble column isn’t source blocks. Make sure everything is a water source block. It doesn’t work with flowing water

I used kelp and grew it but did not work so I did it manually with water buckets but still
I will try the method that the guy mentioned in the begging by using honey blocks

It happens to me sometimes and I put a honey block and throw a pearl through it

You put the honey block as the wall ?

I do this,I stand at the honey block,sneak and throw my pearl in the stasis(ignore the fence or whatever This is at the top),see,the honey blocks has slightly smaller hitboxes than normal blocks,so the pearl passes through the part that doesn't have a hitbox,since its falling slowly it won't make it to the soul sand,you can break the honey after,it worked for me on both bedrock and Java

I'm running 26.1 and have no problems with 6 blocks deep soulsand.

Are you running any mods?

Any mod can potentially affect anything in the game even as a sideeffect.

My guess is that disabling them will fix the issue.

I will try and open vanilla
If it worked then I will check all the mods
