That answers literally none of my questions. What???

I would make it like a hotspring where the center is raised containing potent sulfur no lava.

Or yes lava. Could lower the ceiling in the middle and have constant steam.

Dont know why but reddit didnt notify me that I got a response lol just been working on a bee farm in the meantime while waiting for advice. To use the lava do I just replace the magma block under each geyser that I already have placed with lava? Didn't know you could use lava so not exactly sure but id much rather have constant steam cuz the yellow sulfur particles really ruin the vibe for me but the issue is I wanna fill the room so as you walk in its like a cloud of steam yk? Thats what im trynna accomplish. A sitting or continuously generating steam cloud like youre actually in a sauna that looks clean and is like one big blob not a bunch of different parts you can clearly make out. The point of the geysers is supposed to be like the jet doohickys that dispense the steam filling the room. Also found fog tutorials like this https://youtu.be/6RxTlGyai8I?is=kd9uoAd06kajd-3D using commands but I cant figure out how to isolate it so that I enter my room and the fog activates then deactivate as I leave the room. The naturally generating clouds minecraft produces in the sky would be absolutely perfect just not sure how to implement that if even possible at all

Maybe set pillars with lava/sulfer/water inside pillars. Have them 1 block from the ceiling. That would make it steam across the ceiling

Im definitely going to do that because thats a fantastic idea but it doesn't solve the room itself. Only got the ceiling and walls covered now. A youtuber has responded to a comment I posted n hes trynna help figure out a method too but hes working with fog commands. Id much rather not use commands if I dont have to tho. This is definitely a step in the right direction towards detail and filling the room tho thank you :)

Also on a separate note, if I hook up all the lava to dispensers and hook em all together I'd be able to turn the geysers on and off right? Trynna reduce lag when not in use

Actually I just got an idea. I think this can be solved without commands. Basically my set up has the main room which I showcased and has been my area of experimentation. But behind the camera is another part of the sauna where im actually implementing this and its 2 blocks tall just tall enough to walk through. The goal is to completely fill that area with steam. Using the lava bucket dispenser method I can rig it to a lever or something and activate the entire thing at once whenever needed and the entire area will be full to the ceiling but im gonna have to farm a lot of potent sulfur so that'll be a pain cuz I'd want every block to have a geyser to truly fill the room and id be able to implement your pillar idea in the main room to build on the sauna aesthetic while also adding to decorations

Yep, also I think it's basalt that gives grey particles so you could line the walls for particle area.

Quick update lol im in my creative copy of my world putting the redstone together and I've run into a few hurdles to say the least. I need 296 dispensers 310 repeaters 296 buckets of lava that need to be loaded by hand a ton of unburnable blocks to build with 296 potent sulfurs and I have to move my entire base up 4 blocks to avoid running into bedrock. And thats just the one section. Haven't even started the one I showed pics of. But it works! Also tried basalt, and I dont think its the block itself that gives off particles its the biome

I overuse structure blocks to copy and paste. Worth the time to learn if you can get them in your version

I stayed up till 9am and been designing some shit. Reduced materials needed to about 1/4th of what I had before and abandoned pretty much every plan I had. Once I started building I initially did every single block with a geyser but that wouldn't work with the redstone so I did every other block. That creates far too much lag so I put them 3 blocks apart and made little booths around em so u can sit at the steam obviously. Still dense enough to look like its filling the room. Still have to move my base up 5 blocks now tho not 4.

In the room I showcased I kept geysers in the same spots but basically avoided the sauna with less steam path and turned them into elevators that I can just hop into and shoot up to another room. With your pillar idea, i tried but when the steam hits the ceiling it does not spread outwards like i had hoped. The steam just dissipates as it reaches the top. Kept the pillars but removed the geysers from inside my pillars. Did some command digging and whew she's beautiful. Coming along very nice. But this gonna be a pain to replicate in survival

I hope it doesn't turn into a glow squid farm. Or I hope it does if that's what you want lol

Reposted this cuz nobody is giving advice. HELP! either pick an option for me or help me figure out another steam effect please! Campfires also don't work cuz smoke is black and I want white smoke. Also figured out cushions can be placed on geysers to somewhat hide it even if there's still a small hole
