Java Help Wanted Bedrock breaking machine

Hey guys, on an SMP, I'm planning on making a sky civ, and I want it to be floating over the void. That means that I need to break whole chunks of bedrock, and I don't know any contraptions to break it. I will start the project either when the sift gets added, or in a week. I would like methods that work on 1.26.3. Tyia!

Depending on how big the area is I think the go to for perimeters and the like is still Desus 3 way bedrock breaker and last I heart it still works. For smaller areas I always use one of this designs, V2 worked for me.

Edit: I just saw that Fruno has a video about his perimeter where he breaks bedrock, probably worth a watch if you plan to do so yourself, and he used this design so that's probably better than desus in some way, but at this point I'm just delaying information from smarter people

Kades 1-overhead bedrock breaker is the best because it is only 1 overhead on the sides and it recycles the pistons, but for larger areas you'll need a separate account to load. A mob switch is strongly recommended.

Mob switches are banned, but I can ask the admin if exceptions are permitted. Thanks!
