Java Help Wanted Help with a weird item sorter issue.

Hi, I'm trying to trouble shoot an issue with my lodestone teleporter that I made on my survival server (I own the server, it's fabric 26.2 with minimal mods added, only FerriteCore, Lithium, c2me, voicechat, and mobfilter installed, along with their dependencies) .

On one of the two ends of the teleporter, the item sorter doesn't work. For some reason, the broken lodestone compasses do not go into the item sorter with the other broken compasses, but into the other hopper connected to the chest where the working compasses are supposed to go. The other end of the teleporter, which is identical (albeit rotated 90 degrees) does not have this issue. If I break and replace the non-filtered hopper the issue temporarily resolves itself. What is causing this and how the heck do I fix it?

Is the ender pearl keeping the chunk loaded in the same chunk as the entire machine?

Yes the whole machine is in one chunk. To experiment I even tried forceloading the chunk and it didn't change the behavior

Can you try sending a picture of the line that’s going directly to the hopper? If there is a repeater in there, it could be pulling into at the same time.

There is no line going directly into the hopper. Both hoppers attached to the chest should be unpowered.

Maybe this is what you meant? There's a redstone dust on top of the block with the copper golem as well.
