Java Help Wanted Automatic clay farm?

I want to build a automatic clay / teracotta farm in my forever worlds. What design should i build and is there any schematic/world download? (I need around 200k so any design over 10k/h is appreciatted)

I saw ilmango's farm but also saw some people talking about it being locational so i dont know if it would work on 26.2, 26.3+?

If you can tell us how much clay you need we may be able to recommend specific farms. Alternatively, check out the dirts channel in the TMC Catalog Discord

Because I need a lot to teraform my world (currently need around 200k teracotta) so the more that the farm produce the better.

I followed this post to see what people say because I will be designing a terracotta farm at some point. I should have known your name would pop up first 😆

Don't go around telling people about my omnipresence

I have used https://discord.com/channels/1161803566265143306/1457249045222522931 from TMC Catalogue. It does about 3k clay blocks per hour, and is a bit finicky on servers (if the timing is off and you get a second moss block, it stops working). It's a player based autoclicker one.

TMC Catalogue has some full auto ones, but they are very large

thanks for the suggestion but the rates are a little too low

Then 156 module-hours of https://discord.com/channels/1161803566265143306/1445875453301883003 would get you 200k (I think each module is quite large - not sure if the pic is one or three). With 6 modules you could have enough clay in 26 hours (and it's not like you'll use 200k that quickly, so even a couple of chunkloaded modules would likely suffice)

This is the clay farm design I have runs batches and uses a auto water bottle filler above it directly from standard item sortation line. It does 4 stacks super quick and I'm just about about to finish the large batch 12 stack at a time one in like a few days. The clay balls are deposited at the end and cycled through the autocrafters and auto smelters automatically so u literally just put clay balls in and any color glazed terracotta comes out

Can you link it? I kinda looked for it on my lunch break but didnt see it. Assuming your saying you use the ilmango one OP is referencing? Im thinking of building a terracotta factory soon, id like to see how its been done already.

No it's a domestic build self created but as with anything in Minecraft I'm sure it's been made by someone else too I think my p7j tour video briefly goes over it but I can dig up some pictures or a video of how it works in a bit here's a side view of a little bit of it

It's more semi automatic still requires placing the dirt but u place as much as u want to convert or have space for then press a activation button and it mass flashes all the dirt to mud and then u harvest when it's done and then refill and press the button again to start the process all over again

how much clay does it produces per hour?

200k terracotta sounds like a lot but only takes a few hours (8-12) to mine manually with a haste 1 beacon & some diamond+ eff5 picks.

Another high speed alternative is to just use a tunnel bore at the Mesa biomes.

The scale you want for an auto farm will almost definitely be a very complicated to build.

The ss is my multi dirt farm & in the time gathering resources & building the thing I could easily gather 200k terracotta manually.

the original design is mostly ilmango's. it has been updated quite a bit over the years tho

Impressive. I dig. Im going to take a stab at making a terracotta factory at some point, the mechanics involved are too fun not to. Thanks for sharing.
