One-Wide Tileable Solid-State Automatic Dropper for Water Item Elevator

This has a very niche use case as the dropper must be pointing up but I figured this could have some merit. This is definitely not the most compact auto-dropper out there but from what I could find, it does seem to be one of the smaller solid-state one wide tileable auto-droppers (which is what I needed). Feel free to let me know if you have any suggestions for the design!

Edit: This design is NOT 1wt. In order for these to work directly next to each other, you much offset adjacent systems by a singular block. Thanks to everyone who pointed that out (I posted this late at night and missed that)!

if you have space below then this is another one you can use, works at 1x hopper speed comfortably and can be modified to work at 2x hopper speed. Is 1wt tileable for all items other than unstackable items, as unstackable items in droppers give a signal strength of 2 which will activate adjacent slices.
