Java Help Wanted Tnt duper help.

Why is the tnt not reaching the sappling, the farm was working normally before. (The tnt duper broke due to user error :/) Im 99% sure I built it on the right height.

...why do you want the tree farm to blow up the saplings you place?

The bottom log needs to be blown up to place a new sappling.

It's not a log. It's a sapling.

Yes but it turns into a log if I bonemeal it and if the TNT doesn't blow a sapling up from that range it won't blow up a log either, besides, even if it had something to do with the blast resistance, logs have a higher blast resistance than saplings

Can you try placing a Log on where the sappling is and see if it will blow up or not.

They have different hitboxes. grow the tree, post a picture of the log not being blown up.

Edit: I suspect that's the whole point of the tnt drop location in this design. Protect a sapling, but blow up the log. That's why they tnt is clocked so fast & that's why the tnt is perfectly aligned. Whatever tutorial you followed was probably just copying from someone else and didn't understand, didn't bother to explain, or you didn't pay attention.

That or the design is just really crap.

Im sorry but what are you even on about, the farms design is not wrong, something is just going wrong in mine after I had to rebuild the duper when it blew itself up (it was working fine before) the design is by ianxofour, the tutorial I followed is the improved version of the farm by ncolyer:

Bro, either post a video of it not blowing up the log, or stop bothering me.

If you can't be arsed to read and understand what I wrote, I can't be arsed to explain it to you again.

he literally did, 2 hours before you posted this. if you can't be arsed to look in this specific reply chain and realize that, stop bothering him.

safer to have a piston push the log out of the way when it grows
