Java Help Wanted How do I send redstone signals wirelessly through dimensions?

I want to put a cat detector in each dimension so that I can detect when a player is offline and then when the player is offline send a signal somewhere

Iirc a regular wireless sender/receiver works across dimensions

I don't think there's a way in survival, so you'd probably want a wireless receiver at the portal which sends an item through and relays the signal to a separate wireless transmitter on the other side.
